Hello! This is my 11th year with Seymour Community Schools. I work with students of all ages with varying levels of communication difficulties at Emerson and Seymour High School. I studied Communication Disorders at Indiana State University. My husband and I have 4 wonderful children. Remember communication is more than what is being said.

I am a graduate of Indiana State University! My post-graduate work is through Indiana Wesleyan and Indiana University Southeast. I have taught in Seymour for 29 years. I have been in fourth grade for 4 years. Teaching is my passion! My daughter, Alexis, is a senior at Ball State University.. My step-daughter is a teacher in Seymour at the 6th Grade Center.. My husband and I enjoy an evening walk, being outdoors, working in our yard, sitting poolside, spending time with family and friends! We also have a shih-Tzu who is a wild thing and she is 1 year old!

Hello! I have been in education since 1992 and every year just keeps getting better. I have lived in Seymour since 1999, when I started working for Seymour Community Schools. Currently I am the principal at Emerson Elementary and love coming to work every day.
